PAUL SCHULER, President & CEO
Paul joined CCA in 1991 after a 14-year US Navy career where he held assignments in aviation, intelligence, operations, international liaison, and education. In addition to managing the day-to-day business operations of the organization, Paul is actively engaged in promoting response preparedness and planning with regional governments, Non-governmental organizations, and the international oil industry. He has served as Chairman of the Association of Petroleum Industry Cooperative Managers (APICOM) and is a member of the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association's (IPIECA) Oil Spill Working Group. Paul holds a B.A. in Business and Government and M.A.s in International Relations and National Security Affairs. He is a member of Rotary International.

HENRY "SKIP" PRZELOMSKI, Vice President & Sr. Technical Advisor
Skip joined CCA in 1991 following a 20-year career in the marine safety and environmental protection fields with the US Coast Guard. Skip was responsible for developing specifications, procurement and maintenance of a $7.5 million capital equipment expansion program, which today represents the foundation of the CCA's response capability. Skip is an active Member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Hazardous Substances and Oil Spill Response Committee (F-20) and serves on several government-industry study groups on oil spill related issues. A graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy he holds a B.S. in Engineering and a M.E.A. in Engineering Administration from George Washington University.

MIKE GASS, Vice President & Technical Advisor
Mike served 24 years in the U.S. Navy as a pilot aboard aircraft carriers and as commander of a naval flight training squadron. Mike is responsible for the CCA's training, readiness, and safety programs and is the resident expert on aviation issues. Over the years Mike has been project manager for many of CCA’s International Mobilization Preparedness and Response Exercises (MOBEX). Mike holds a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in International Relations.

ERIK D. DEMICCO, Vice President, Technical Advisor & Marine Biologist
Erik joined CCA in 2007. Erik was an instructor at Miami-Dade College, where he taught advanced hazardous materials chemistry, and risk analysis. Erik is responsible to provide assistance to oil spill response during mobilizations, new program development and training, and information technology advancement. Erik was the CCA Dispersants Operations Team Leader during the Deepwater Horizon Response in the Gulf. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Ramapo College and a dual M.S. degree from Nova Southeastern University in Marine Biology and Coastal Zone Management. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Marine Biology from Nova Southeastern University.

PAM SAIDON, Administrative Assistant
Pam was Branch Manager for a bank and an Office Manager for an aviation maintenance company prior to joining the CCA in 1991. She manages the day-to-day administration of the CCA office and is responsible for legal matters and corporate governance. Her imprint touches on nearly every aspect of the CCA's activities and she is responsible for much of the excellent reputation CCA has with its business associates and member companies.

NELLY BILEWICZ, Secretary, Translator
Nelly is a native of Colombia who studied French and English from schooling in Columbia and Ecuador. Prior to joining CCA in 1997, was the Administrative Assistant for Toledo Scales' Caribbean and Latin America. She has helped create a stronger connection with CCA's Latin American members and associates by translating training course, public, and corporate materials into Spanish. Nelly serves as translator as well as event coordinator. Nelly holds a B.A. in Computer Programming.

T.J. QUINN, Assistant Equipment Manager, Response Supervisor
T.J., who has worked with CCA since 1992, retired as a Lieutenant/Paramedic from the City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department after 28 years of service. His primary responsibilities are to coordinate day-to-day maintenance of the oil spill response equipment and its readiness for deployment.

TIM HABIG, Lead Mechanic, Response Supervisor
Tim, who has worked with CCA since 1992, is a Lieutenant/Paramedic from the City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department with 20 years of service. Tim is Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting and U.S. Department of Transportation Technical Rescue certified. His primary responsibilities are to implement the preventative maintenance program on all CCA equipment.

 

JULIOLE DELPE-GOLABKAN, Bookkeeper
Juliole started out her career with Bureau Veritas North America in Miami, FL as a staff accountant, and then transferred to work in London and Paris as a Project Accountant. Juliole is responsible for financial accounting, reporting, invoicing and other specific reports. A native of Haiti, she holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting.

LAUREN MOON, Environmental Science Intern
Lauren is a 2010 graduate from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Environmental Science and minor in Marine Biology. She has participated in marine biology field studies and assists CCA in both oil spill preparedness and response training and management support.

ASSOCIATE CONSULTANTS

LUIS VILA
Luis is a former Argentine Navy Logistics Officer, Argentine Representative to IMO, Argentine National Contingency Plan expert. Luis is available for training, drills, exercises, contingency plan review, and response.

DARIO MIRANDA
Darío was formerly an Environmental professional with Ecopetrol’s HSE Corporate Directorate senior researcher at the Colombian Petroleum Institute and served as a senior HSE professional. He co-authored The ARPEL Dispersants Guidelines and is available for training, drills, exercises and contingency plan review.

CHRISTINE LANE
Christine is a former CCA Technical Advisor, US Coast Guard National Strike Team Marine Biologist and Ocean Engineer. Christine is available for training, drills, exercises, equipment reviews, dispersant operations, response, and contingency plan review.

ALBERTO CASCO
Alberto works as an associate Crisis Management Consultant for South America and the Caribbean. He was a former Crisis Management Director for BP and worked in Argentina and the U.S. in the areas of operations, HSE, and crisis management/emergency response. He is available for training, drills, exercises, equipment reviews, dispersant operations, response, and contingency plan review.

   

RESPONSE SUPERVISORS
A cadre of Fort Lauderdale Firefighters and Environmental Response Contractors are available to accompany CCA equipment, assist in the assembly, initial deployment, and training of local responders.
