Product Description (English)

Specialized boom designed for creating land surface seals. 24 units of 50-ft sections. The upper portion of the boom (floatation) consists of an inflatable urethane bladder. The skirt (draft) is a dual bladder that is partially (2/3) filled with water. Packaged with 2 ea. air blowers and water pumps. Overall height: 20 inches (50.8 cm.). 1300 ft. (39 6m)packaged in one K-1 container.

For intertidal zones, along shorelines, river banks, mud flats and beaches.
 

Operational Considerations

Excellent boom for protecting environmentally sensitive areas (marshes and mud flats, etc.) that experience tidal influences. Standard boom may also be attached to floating end of shore sealing boom to make a continuous barrier. One section of the shore guard boom can be used with standard containment boom in a situation where a tight seal is needed with the shoreline.
