Product Description (English)

Oleophilic vertical rope mop with four 9-in. mops for wide range of oils. Mounted on air transportable pallet with Diesel America West Diesel Hydraulic power pack, SeaMop control stand and transfer pump. SeaMop has 4-in. discharge fittings, 100 ft./30 m. of 4-in. discharge hose. SeaMop 4090 throughput: 154 GPM. Derated capacity: 1,056 BPD (149 metric tonnes). Diesel America 45hp hydraulic power pack; 32 GPM. 3-in. Bayou City Poppet Pump: 250 GPM. 50 ft./15 m. of 3-in. suction hose is included.

Product Use

Recovery of floating oil from a platform (vessel or pier) suspended from crane or davit. Recovered product can be transferred to a temporary storage device. Effective recovery of light, medium and heavy oils. Most efficient on medium oil.

Operational Considerations

Requires boom arm (crane or davit) to position the system over the oil. The Weight of the suspended mop unit (dry) is 1083 lbs/492 kg.

Effective in up to sea state 3 (15 knot winds and 6 ft. waves). Can be adapted with a Foilex TDS 200 screw pump to push heavy oils to a storage container.
