Product Description (English)

Kit is made up of various oil spill response components, all portable. Booms: 10-inch (26 cm) by 33 feet (1 m) sections in bundles. Rapid deployment barrier in box 1,000 feet (305 m). Temporary storage open top tank 1,000 gal./24 bbl./3.5 m3. Anchor plates (10), shackles, nylon rope, hand tools, rakes and shovels. Decontamination pool, buckets, and brushes. Underflow dam pvc pipes (6). Poly bags (200).

Product Use

For spill response in remote inland areas. All contents are portable. Boom sections are bundled. Rapid deployment barrier is easily and quickly put in place. Decontamination kit for personnel decon. Pvc pipes for building underflow dams.

Operational Considerations

Booms are easily deployed and secured to bare ground with heavy anchor plates. Temporary storage tank can be used for oiled sorbents or liquid oil. Underflow dam can be built in slow moving stream and fitted with the pvc pipes to allow oil to pool behind dam.
