Air transportable skimming system for widest range of oils modified to fit on one skid. System consists of a Foilex TDS 200 Archimedean screw pump, remote control unit and floating weir, 3-in. Bayou City Poppet Pump, Diesel America 45 HP hydraulic power pack, and Palfinger Marine Crane. Foilex TDS 200 has 4-in.discharge fitting; skimmer throughput: 380 GPM, derated capacity: 2,625 BPD (417 metric tonnes). Poppet transfer pump is rated at 250 GPM. 200 ft./61 m. of 4-in. discharge hose and 50 ft./15 m. of 3-in. suction hose are included. Operational spares and tools are stowed in two aluminum storage boxes mounted on the skid.

Palfinger marine crane lifting capacity is 1,012 lbs./460 kg. System may be deployed and operated directly from the skid or the components (with the exception of the marine crane) can be removed from the skid to operate from a smaller platform. Weir level self-adjusts with the floats adjustable over a 24 in. range for different sea conditions. Skimmer requires 30-36 in.of minimum water depth for proper operation. Additional hoses and fittings are available.
