Product Use

Spray from Airborne Dispersant Delivery System (ADDS), vessel spray system, helicopter spray buckets, agricultural spray aircraft, or back-pack units.

Operational Considerations

Apply neat from air; apply diluted with sea water from vessels. At a 1:40 ratio, this stockpile may disperse approximately 1,200,000 gal. of oil (30,000 bbls, 4,200 m³.) Totes are easily transported on cargo jets to operations base. Two totes per aircraft position subject to weight and balance: 1 gal. = 8 lbs., 1 tote = 2900 lbs., The CCA dispersant transfer systems are used to rapidly load application systems.
