The BoomVane is a flow-powered device for both shore- and vessel based oil boom deployment. The BoomVane is constructed as a cascade of vertical wings mounted in a rectangular frame. B-200 is Combination Unit for harbor and shallow water. B-201 is for harbor and B-202 is for shallow water. |

Operational Considerations |

Current range is 0.5 to 5 knots. Works better in higher currents. Typically uses 100-200 feet of river or harbor boom. Proper rigging is essential. Angles and lengths of boom and lines can be computed from tables. |
