Operational Considerations

Land Mobile:  Most of CCA’s operational communication will occur in the land mobile service on four selectable frequency channels:

F1 - (158.3400MHz) CCA internal communications which can be unrelated to oil spill containment can occur here. It is a shared channel.

F2 – (158.4450MHz) This frequency is primarily available for oil spill containment and cleanup operations and for training and drills essential in the preparations for the containment and cleanup of oil spills. It can be used also for communication with other organizations for such operations.

F3 – (159.4800MHz) Same as F2

F4 – (159.4875MHz) same as F2

These channels can be used on land, ships, and aircraft. They will be the default mode on the portable and mobile radios.
