Product Description (English)

Lamor V-brush belt skimmer mounted on pontoons and rigged with two 21 ft. (7 m) boom sweep sections of 30 in./76 cm. overall height. Lamor Power Pack 30, diesel/hydraulic. Desmi DOP-160 vertical screw pump, 121 GPM, 10 bar (147 psi) discharge pressure. 3-in. fittings. 86 ft./26 m. of 3-in. discharge hose.

Product Use

Components can be assembled on vessel of opportunity to create an advancing skimming system on starboard side of vessel. Use outrigger arm, boom sections to funnel oil to skimmer. Can be operated up to 2 1/2 knots speed or standing still. Internal propeller draws oil to skimmer.

Operational Considerations

Vessel of minimum 36 ft. (12 m) length with deck space capable of supporting a 1,400 lb. powerpack. 4-inch flange for skimmer hopper to facilitate offload by a vac-truck or suction pump instead of Desmi DOP 160 pump. Temporary storage is required for recovered oil.
